The Marriott Courtyard Hotel has 153 guest rooms distributed across the first and second levels of the building and 120 apartments which are all located between the 3rd and 14th levels, as well as a series of spaces catered for different uses which offer an innovative level of standard of comfort and high-end services for both local residents and international guests. To translate this concept in terms of interior design, the proposed design is based on the typical Riyadh and Andalusian courtyard houses style, which are composed by interior private patios, surrounded by the house walls, which were traditionally designed to act as a social space with a particular environmental place within the house.

This idea is materialized by emphasizing wide spaces which also manage to provide a degree of intimacy for the guests by strategically placing furniture and decorative structures built in natural materials such as wood, achieving the desired level of discretion. In the rooms and apartments, a more neutral yet equally distinctive approach is taken, with a continuity in terms of materials yet highlighting a relaxed atmosphere through the use of furniture, textures, decorative elements and a neutral and fresh color palette. The program also includes the interior design of all FOH areas: main lobby, cafeteria, ADD, prayer rooms, business area, ballroom and pre function area, gym and spa, and 120 residence inn apartments units.

Hues and patterns found in the rich decorative surfaces which cover walls, floors and ceilings also mirror traditional arabic motifs. The combination of these with natural greenery and well lit spaces create a strong relationship with the exterior garden as well as providing a cozy and homely feeling in all the interior spaces
