Located on the outskirts of Riyadh, within a valley of natural desert canyons, this waterpark is set to become the largest in the world. The interior design concept is inspired by the region’s fauna and flora as well as traditional Saudi architecture. References include the UNESCO World Heritage site of Diriyah, with its distinctive mud-brick construction and triangular wall openings, and the hand-painted doors adorned with colorful geometric patterns.
The program encompasses the interior design of all front-of-house areas, including ticketing zones, towel rental, VIP entrances, guest services, a Lost & Found children’s office, retail outlets, washrooms, food and beverage areas, prayer rooms, first aid facilities, and cabanas.

Each zone of the park has its own color palette, while a unifying design language ties the spaces together. Textured polished plaster on the walls evokes the look of mud-brick construction, blending with the architectural forms and reinforcing the design narrative. Rough-sawn wooden beams and antique-stained wood furniture set the tone, while ceiling and wall coverings of palm leaf reeds—an element of Areesh architecture—and wall paintings inspired by the Asir Province add a distinctive cultural identity, immersing visitors in the richness of Saudi tradition.
